Brandy Scott is a proud native of Bakersfield, California. Diagnosed at the age of 39 with breast cancer, Brandy underwent multiple surgeries and chemotherapy while raising a family and continuing with her career in Special Education. She reached her 5 year survivorship in May of 2024!
Brandy is a member of Links for Life, and says that Links for Life has been a lifeline of hope for her through her breast cancer journey.
Brandy Scott holds the esteemed title of Ms. Bakersfield 2024 through the Bakersfield Pageant, a role that allows her to give back to the community of Bakersfield, champion breast cancer awareness and a full life after diagnosis, and inspire others with her story of triumph over adversity
Brandy brings a passion for community service and a deep commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer prevention and survivorship. Her journey exemplifies strength, courage, and the power of community support in overcoming life's challenges.
