About Us

Links for Life was started in 1992 by Sharyn Woods and Carol Barraza to promote breast cancer awareness and provide services for women coping with cancer. We serve Kern County persons and families. 

We believe that everyone fighting breast cancer is a Survivor!  We exist to improve breast health outcomes in Kern County; educate and empower our neighbors to take ownership of their breast health and provide care and support to people affected by breast cancer.

All fund raised through partner donations and events are reinvented back into our survivor support services.
